David has been mountain biking since 2004, when he started with just an occasional weekend ride. As time went on, he naturally became competitive and started to look for new ways to improve his riding skills, which consisted of learning and understanding the anatomy of a bike, learning the various forms of physical fitness training (on and off the bike), and that’s when he realized he was hooked! Over time, he learned that different bikes train and enhance the body’s physical fitness in various ways so he then invested in a road bike. Not long after, his endurance, strength, and stamina, greatly increased. He participated in cycling events where met many others who all had the same passion.
David has completed a Century and a Metric Century, and took 3rd overall in the Cat 3 Clydesdale at the 2017 US Kenda Cup XC Mountain Bike Race. He has taken a little time off, because of life, but continues to gather information on what is out there in the cycling world. He bought a Giant Advanced Revolt 2 from The Cyclery Bike Shop and joined our cycling team. David is looking forward to making a comeback to the sport sometime soon as a Cat 2/3 racer depending on my physical abilities.
